Two Great Locations, One Organization

Visiting Matthaei Botanical Gardens & Nichols Arboretum

As you plan your visit to Matthaei-Nichols, remember that we occupy two different public locations at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. Nichols Arboretum is located on central campus near the U-M hospitals. Matthaei Botanical Gardens is located north and east of central campus near the U-M East Ann Arbor Health Center and Domino’s Farms. Our two other properties, Mud Lake Bog and Horner-McLaughlin Woods, are mostly used for research and teaching. See the maps to the right for directions on getting to the botanical gardens or the arboretum.
