A white Alsace Lorraine peony.

1916-Farr:36 Very large flat, semi-rose type. Petals arranged like a water-lily. Cream-white, 1(10), deepening to pale yellow, distinct and beautiful. Tall, vigorous, free bloomer. Late. Extra. $3.

1928-B-d:080 Double type; large; late midseason. Petals rounded and cupped at the tips, not pointed, of waxy texture, symmetrically arranged in circular form, pure white, tinted with cream and buff in the center; strong, bitter fragrance. Medium height; floriferous; stems willowy. Foliage scant and clean. A peony of fine form and unusual color, excellent growth and blooming qualities. “A free bloomer on healthy plants.”—Little. “I should call it medium size rather than large.”—Thurlow. “Not as good a grower as many others but a beautiful flower. Inclined to sprawl. Odor unpleasant.”—Boyd.

1976-K:003 Double – White – Late Midseason. Medium height. Strong, bitter fragrance. Pure white, tinted with cream and buff. Large. Petals of a waxy texture, very symmetrically arranged in circular form. Very attractive, and makes a splendid landscape subject. Floriferous; stems willowy. Foliage scant and clean. A peony of fine form and unusual color, excellent growth and blooming qualities.
