1923-SPN:347 1928-B:37 Double. 8.8 (Sym. 1921). Red. 1928-B-d:106 Double type; large; midseason. Very bright crimson with very little blue in it, outer petals large and waved, central petals incurved and notched; not fragrant. Tall; free-flowering; strong stems. Good foliage. Of good clear color, excellent form, and reliable blooming habit. Considered by many to be the best red variety. Good for both cutting and garden decoration.
