History

1934-057:35 Rg Single type, large mid-season, pure white with cupped petals of firm texture. Full center of yellow stamens. Carpels, pale green, stigmas white. Plane strong, 3 feet high, light green foliage, stems strong, without stiffness. Fragrance neither pleasant nor displeasing. Named for a mountain peak visible from the gardens.

1939-RL:25 Single. White.

1943-B091:14 lactiflora. Single. Very large pure white with white stigmas. Medium height with exceptionally strong stems and large foliage. Maybe the best white single yet introduced.

1962-W:084 Single. Pure white, firm, cupped petals. Dense yellow ball of stamens, green pistils with white tops. Strong, loose-leaved plant has graceful, 3′ shoots. Generally overrated, nevertheless one of the best early singles.
