Ann Arbor Backyard Beekeepers will host Michael Nardelli, for an in-person presentation on swarms. Michael will explain why swarming happens, how to catch a swarm, and how to hive a captured swarm. He will also emphasize strategies for preventing swarming, a key concern for many beekeepers, and discuss ethical and legal considerations in swarm capture.
Meetings begin at 7:00 PM, with a 6:30 PM Q&A session beforehand for new beekeepers. The lecture is free and open to the public. Paid parking is available.
