The Ann Arbor Backyard Beekeepers meet on the second Tuesday of the month from 7-9 PM. 

This month's featured speaker is Dr. Amy Trang Vu, who will delve into the theme of "Hot Topics in Beekeeping" via Zoom.

Amy Vu is the UF/IFAS State Specialized Extension Agent in Apiculture, where she oversees Extension activities related to honeybees and beekeeping. She runs the University of Florida Master Beekeeper Program, the University of Florida Bee Colleges, UF/IFAS Honeybee Blog, and is the co-host of the lab’s podcast “Two Bees in a Podcast”.

Dr. Vu will share with us the topics being discussed and ongoing research at international and national meetings.  She will also present opportunities and resources available to beekeepers.
