What's In Bloom

Herbaceous peonies in southeast Michigan bloom from approximately Memorial Day to mid-June, depending on the weather.  Until then, you can still visit other areas of the Arb to see blooming plants spring, summer, and fall.

What’s In Bloom

If you haven’t had the chance to make it to see the peonies yet this season, this is your weekend! The flowers are still beautiful, but starting to drop petals. We don’t recommend delaying a visit much longer!

June 7, 2022

The rain knocked some of the blooms down, but there are still plenty of beautiful peonies to enjoy. Even so, we expect blooms to start dropping more frequently as the days pass, we don’t recommend delaying a visit much longer!

June 3, 2022

We are nearing peak bloom, just in time for our Centennial Celebration.
