Eco-workday Volunteer Sign-Up

Eco-workdays are fantastic for volunteer groups, but we also encourage and welcome individuals or pairs to sign-up and join us for an eco-workday! Scroll down and click on the “Choose a Spot” button below to sign up.
We now require all individuals (or a group leader and input number of spots) to sign-up for the eco-workday rather than just show up. This assists us with staff, tools, resources, and most importantly safety throughout the ongoing covid transitions. Thanks for understanding.
  • Arb workdays meet at the Reader Center (white building in photo below) outdoor patio space located at 1610 Washington Heights in Ann Arbor. See below photo.

  • Matthaei Botanical Garden (MBG) workdays meet at the parking lot/west lobby door entrance located by Willow Pond at 1800 N. Dixboro Rd. in Ann Arbor. Easy road access off Dixboro Road. See map below with red arrow. Once you park, follow the “mosaic tiles” on the outdoor hallway wall to the lobby door to meet us outside – look for our welcoming staff leads too.

  • What to Wear & Bring? We will be supplying gloves and any tools that may be necessary. Sturdy closed-toe shoes are required, and long pants are recommended. Please dress for the weather and wear shoes suitable for walking in snow/rain if that is the forecast. Refillable water bottles encouraged.
