Policosanol, a chemical derived from sugar cane, may lower the risk of coronary heart disease.
Policosanol may lower the risk of CHD by reducing levels of total cholesterol and LDL-C as well as ratios of LDL-C to HDL-C and total cholesterol to HDL-C and by increasing HDL-C
