
Matthaei Botanical Gardens is hosting free guided nature walks on select Wednesdays and Sundays. These walks are FREE, no registration required.
WEDNESDAY WALKS
Wednesday Nature Wonder Walks are held (almost) every Wednesday, 5:30-6:30 pm. through mid-December. We recommend those joining start to gather at 5:15 pm near the front entryway steps at Matthaei Botanical Gardens. Wednesday Nature Wonder Walks are designed for families and children as a series of casual outdoor activities that model curiosity and honor nature.

- Adults are required to stay with their children
- Closed toe shoes required
- All walks are held outdoors. In case of severe weather (heavy rain, ice) we will cancel by posting to this event page

SUNDAY STROLLS
Sunday Strolls are held (almost) the first two Sundays of the month through December, 1:00-2:00 pm. We recommend those joining start to gather at 12:45 pm near the front entryway steps at Matthaei Botanical Gardens. Sunday Strolls are designed for all ages to inspire curiosity and learning from each other. If we have a large mixed-age group, we may separate into two sets to offer the same content at different levels of engagement.
