The respiratory system supplies the blood with oxygen; blood then delivers oxygen to the rest of the body. When we breathe we inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide. Common problems of the respiratory system include asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, hay-fever, influenza, laryngitis, pharyngitis and pneumonia.
