Faerie Houses in the Conservatory

February 7 - February 12

The conservatory at Matthaei has some new residents.  Our faerie friends have moved into the neighborhood and we hope you will give them a warm welcome. Our visitors are encouraged to find all the faeries' houses our little friends have hidden throughout the conservatory. Scavenger hunt sheets are provided at the front desk. Celebrate the last weeks of winter as we gather to learn about woodland creatures and make & decorate faerie doors to take home. Faeries are just one of the marvelous magical creatures that live in the natural world.  Decorate a faerie door with objects from nature as well as ribbons and other bright objects and place your faerie door where woodland sprites might visit.
