Health and Wellness Event for Long-Standing Members
September 14, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Have you ever wondered why you feel relaxed or refreshed after a walk in nature? Would you like to enhance your experiences in nature? If so, please join us for a conversation with Michigan Medicine emeritus professor Dr. Sara Warber and current LSA (PitE) lecturer Dr. Jason Duvall, followed by a sensory awareness activity at Nichols Arboretum led by MFA student Bridget Quinn. Dr. Warber and Dr. Duvall will discuss their research and discoveries about how nature directly influences our health and wellness. Then immediately following, Stamps School of Art & Design graduate student Bridget Quinn will lead an activity that will explore building deeper connections with the Arboretum.
Please RSVP to Ashley McCloskey via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or phone (734.647.8522) by Friday, September 7. Light refreshments will be served. Detailed directions and parking options will be provided to RSVP’d guests approximately one week before the event.
This event is at capacity and was by invitation only to our long-standing members. Need to renew or upgrade your membership – make your gift online today or call 734.647.7600.
