The UM Sustainable Food Program and the Campus Farm at Matthaei Botanical Gardens are excited to invite you to HarvestFest, taking place on Sunday, September 24th, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Campus Farm. This open house event is a vibrant celebration of U-M’s student-driven food initiatives, with a strong emphasis on sustainability, social justice, and creativity.

Join us for an array of engaging activities, including lawn games, arts and crafts, live music performances, mouthwatering food demonstrations, artistic expressions, and informative displays from both student and community organizations. Additionally, the Farm Stand will be present, offering locally grown produce cultivated by our students.

Come together with our community to celebrate sustainability and the importance of food sovereignty. This event is free of charge and welcomes all members of the public. On-site parking is available, and for your convenience, there will be complimentary bus transportation departing every 20 minutes from the Central Campus Transit Center.
