Liz Glynn joined Matthaei Botanical Gardens and Nichols Arboretum in 2007 as Children’s Program coordinator. She designs and implements educational programs for K-12 students and year-round environmental education programs for youth and families. These programs meet Michigan science education standards and emphasize ecosystems and plant functions and adaptations. Liz brings many years of management and volunteer supervision experience to her job at Matthaei-Nichols, having worked in the cooperative natural food industry collaborating with local farmers and distributors. She received her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Education from the University of Michigan’s School of Natural Resources and Environment.
