Elizabeth Spencer

Elizabeth joins the Matthaei-Nichols team with over ten years of green industry experience. She is a graduate of Michigan State University’s College of Agriculture and Natural Resources where she studied horticulture science; concentrating in landscape design and construction management. Elizabeth worked for several years in greenhouse operations and landscape installation before moving to Southern California where she became a project engineer in environmental remediation and construction. During her time on the west coast she also sat on the board of a local nonprofit devoted to encouraging pollinator populations through habitat restoration. Outside of work Elizabeth enjoys playing the piano and spending time with family and friends.
